Age & education gate - not for school pupils. Confirm you’re college/uni (or equivalent) at signup.
Chat safeguards - connections-first DMs by default, message requests for strangers, DMs can be turned off.
Block & report - one tap from profiles, Studio, Help cards, and chat. Admins review open reports.
Moderation - hard blocklists, optional AI review, and human staff. Still use your own judgment offline.
Meet first in public places; tell a friend where you’re going.
Job / housing posts: prefer in-app notes; be wary of “cash only, message me on Instagram” pressure.
For sales: daytime handovers in busy spots; never send goods before payment clears.
Don’t share home addresses, ID docs, or payment codes with people you don’t trust.
